San Diego Zoo (Warning: Picture heavy post)

The San Diego Zoo is one of the best zoos I have ever been to in the United States.  They feature just about every animal you can think of and some you can't.

They are probably best known for their panda bears, but there are so many other animals to see.  You will need a good day here as well and go first thing in the morning.  Once the sun sets, you will miss most of the animals as the animal cages are not well lit.

I'll let the pictures do the talking, but you can see what an awesome place this is to visit.  It should be on your list when visiting San Diego.
